Darlene E. Kline, 89, of Rochester, passed away on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at Carriage Crossing Senior Living in Rochester, IL. Darlene was born in Forest Park, IL., on May 13, 1935, the daughter of Henry and Jeanne (DuBois) Lavine. She married Jack E. Kline on June 10, 1955, and he preceded her in death on August 10, 2012.

Darlene enjoyed playing the lottery and Bingo. She loved cardinals, music and sitting by the fireplace visiting with friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jack; sisters, Audrey Hobday and Joyce Trezise; and brother, Wayne Lavine.

Darlene is survived by her children, Kathy (Frank) Sendag, Jack (Cathy) Kline, Wendy (Bob Ridings) Martin, and Brent (Mindy) Kline; eight grandchildren, Jennifer (David) Bobbe; Patrick (Gwen) Martin, Lyndsi (Adam) Reid, Nina Henry, Richard (Kathryn) Kline, David Kline, Devan (Ariel) Kline and Kelsie Matt; eighteen great grandchildren; four siblings, Donna (Roman) Strzala, Shirley (Frank Lewandowski) Brott, Eric (Mary Lavine) and Kevin Lavine, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Cremation was accorded by Park Funeral Homes.
