Daniel Hartman, 79, of Taylorville, died on Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.

Daniel was born on December 21, 1940 in Blue Mound, the son of Orville and Mary (Kidd) Hartman.

He retired from working at the Hilton Hotel in in Springfield after several years as a maintenance man.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and one sister, Wanda Danford.

Daniel is survived by his siblings Marilyn (Kenneth) Hamm of North Bend, OR., Ralph (Donna) Hartman of Mt. Pulaski, IL., James Hartman of Mason City, IL., Joyce (David) Johnson of Oreana, IL. Orville "Ed" (Sherry) Hartman of Lake Havasu, AZ., and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Private graveside services will be held at 1:30PM on Friday, April 17, 2020 at Edinburg Cemetery in Edinburg, IL.
