Daniel Dean "Dan" Rogers, 27, of Springfield, passed away on Monday, January 23, 2017 at Memorial Medical Center.

Dan was born on November 4, 1989 in Springfield the son of Thomas Alvis Rogers and Sandra Jane Reed.

Dan worked for Eric Allard Constructions as a roofer.  He enjoyed fishing, working on cars and listening to music.

He is survived by his parents, Thomas Rogers and Sandra Reed both of Springfield; siblings, Rodney Reed of Springfield, Jane (Keith) Walker of Pittsfield, June Cerar of Athens, Jenny (Matt) Willis of Athens, Tommy Cerar of Carlinville, Carl (Jackie) Rogers of Springfield, and Johanna (David) Rogers of Springfield; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be from 3-6:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at Ellinger-Kunz & Park Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 29, 2017 at the funeral home with Reverend Ron Waltrip officiating.  Cremation will follow services.
