Connie Loretta Trells, 81, of Springfield, passed away on Wednesday July 13, 2016 at The Mosaic of Springfield.

Connie was born on August 2, 1934 in Pleasant Plains, the daughter of Lewis and Nellie Sharp Miller.  She married Michael Trells on December 29, 1959; he preceded her in death in 1998.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; brother, Russ Miller; and two sisters, Patricia Parsons and JoAnn Woolsey.

She is survived by one daughter Debbie Peddycoart of Athens, two sons, Steven Trells of Athens and Michael "Greg" Trells of Hawaii; one sister, Judy Poehlein of Springfield; four grandchildren, Justin, Laura and Alison Peddycoart and Steve Trells; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at Camp Butler National Cemetery with Reverend Richard Tribble officiating.
