Colleen McCoy, 76, of Rochester, passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2016, at Memorial Medical Center

She was born on June 8, 1939, in Fairview, OK, the daughter of Frank B. and Audrey Cunningham Cluster. She married Ted L. McCoy on December 23, 1961; he preceded her in death.

She was a graduate of Great Bend (Kansas) High School, and Fort Hays Kansas State Teachers College. Over her career, she worked as a demonstrator for the electric company, a school teacher, and a seamstress specializing in custom wedding and bridesmaid dresses.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; and one son, Greg.

She is survived by one son, Brig C. McCoy of Kansas City, MO.; one sister, Jeanine Lunsford of Stafford County, KS; and one brother-in-law, David McCoy of Topeka, KS.

Memorial gathering will be from 6-7:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 31, 2016, at Wilson Park Funeral Home in Rochester, IL.

Interment will be scheduled for later this year in Great Bend, KS.
