Chris Allen Hansen, 59, passed away on Monday, November 26, 2018 at Memorial Medical Center.

Chris was born on March 15, 1959 in Lansing, MI the son of Paul and Mary Jo Gavin Hansen.  He married Jo Ann Hansen and she survives.

Chris was a graduate of Lanphier High School.  He went on to work for Franklin Life and Springfield Clinic.  He was also a musician for many bands including, Sky High and Live Wire.  He loved his band family and was loved and cherished by his best friend John Shepherd.

He was preceded in death by his father.

He is survived by his daughter, Brandy (Josh) Burton of Springfield; mother, Mary Jo Hansen of Springfield; brother, Craig (Jeannie) Hansen of Springfield; sister, Bridget (Lucas) Hansen-Milik of Springfield; granddaughter, Margo Burton; and nephew, Jordan Paul Milik.

Celebration of Life will be from 4-6:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Ellinger-Kunz & Park Funeral Home.
