In Loving Memory of Cheryl Jones

Cheryl Jones, a pillar of strength, resilience, and love, passed away on 12/18/2024 at the age of 70. Known for her open heart and unshakable spirit, Cheryl was a guiding light to her family and all who knew her.

As the proud mother of Stormy (Mark) Udell, Garrett Jones, James (Jannifer) Best and Richard Jones. And Grandmother to Levi Jones, Sabrina, Tonya, Jackson and Noah Udell, Lilly and Emma Best and Jacque (Orlando) Martinez. Cheryl devoted her life to loving, supporting, and guiding them. But her love extended far beyond her own family. Cheryl had an extraordinary ability to welcome others with open arms, caring for children who weren't hers as if they were her own. She was the embodiment of acceptance and compassion, creating a space where everyone felt valued, safe, and loved.

Cheryl's life was defined by her strength and resilience. No matter the challenges she faced, she met them head-on with courage and determination, serving as a powerful example for her children and those around her. Her wisdom and guidance were a steady presence, helping others navigate life's trials with grace and resolve.

Her warm smile, kind heart, and unwavering belief in the goodness of people left an indelible mark on all who crossed her path. Cheryl's legacy is one of love, acceptance, and the strength to persevere through anything life may bring.

She is survived by her loving children, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nieces nephews, and the countless lives she touched with her open and accepting nature. Cheryl's presence will be deeply missed, but her lessons and love will remain in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.

A celebration of Cheryl's life will be held later in the summer as she didn't want her loved ones cooped up crying inside. In honor of her boundless generosity, the family asks that donations be made to your local Head Start Agency, or any organization of your choosing who's mission is to help children, reflecting her lifelong commitment to helping others.
