Charolette Elaine (Hagar) Taylor, affectionately know as "Governor" was born on April 16th, 1949 in Beardstown, IL. On November 3, 2024 at the age of 75 she passed away at home. Survived by her husband, Jon Taylor. They were married on November 6, 1965. Also survived by three sons, Todd, Keith, and Scott Taylor, along with three grandchildren, all of Springfield.

Elaine worked at several places in Springfield through the years. The last being Schnucks before retiring.

Cremation rites will be accorded by Ellinger-Kunz and Park Funeral Home, 530 North 5th Street Springfield, IL.

A Celebration of Life will be held November 24th, 2024 from 1:00 pm till 3:00 pm at the VFW Hall 2349 Stockyard Road Springfield, IL. All family and friends are cordially welcome to attend.
