Charles Joseph Scott, 65, of Springfield, formerly of Rochester, passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at St. John's Hospital.

Chuck was born on February 9, 1951 in Christian County the son of Thomas E. and Antoinette Searnier Scott.

Chuck had worked at the Holiday Inn East for twenty-three years, was a resident of Rochester for over fifty years and a past member of Boot Kicker International.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his sister, Barbara Ann (husband, John) Scott Green; one niece, Michelle Green; three nephews, Jeremy, Daren, and John Green; one great niece; one great nephew; and several cousins.

Visitation will be from 4-6:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 8, 2016 at Wilson Park Funeral Home in Rochester. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday May 9, 2016 at the funeral home with Dr. Robert Armstrong officiating.  Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Springfield.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or charity of the donor's choice.
