Brandon K. Mefford, 49, of Springfield, IL, passed away on January 30th, 2025, at his home.

Brandon was born May 1st, 1975, in Springfield, IL, to Gail Churchill and Keith Mefford.

He is survived by his parents, (Gail Churchill and Keith Mefford), Brother, (Shane Mefford), 3 Children, (Sierra Mefford, Drew Mefford, and Lexy Mefford), Grandmother (Helen Briggs) 4 sisters, (Crystal McEvoy, Katie Mefford, Kelsey Painter, and Casidy Mefford); and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Proceeding him in death is his Stepfather, (Jim Churchill), Grandfather (Ronald Briggs), and Uncle (Jerry Briggs).

Brandon was a jack of all trades. He worked many jobs ranging from a line cook in local pizza shops to construction, carpentry, and mechanical work. He had a passion for music and history. He was referred to as a "life-long learner" by many. His family was vastly impressed with his ability to fix, build, and learn almost anything with ease.
