Betty Ann Hill, 85, of Springfield passed away Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at St. John's Hospice.

She was born November 18, 1930 in Springfield, the daughter of Harris and Augusta Pettit. She married James William Hill Sr.

Betty was a volunteer at Memorial Medical Center of over 27 years. She was a member of Eastview Baptist Church for many years.

She is survived by two daughters, Melodie Ann (Galen) Clark and Toni R. Day (Companion, Mark Connelley); four grandchildren, Galen, Logan, Sarah, and Aubrey; seven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband and a son, James William Hill Jr.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at Camp Butler National Cemetery. Pastor Benny Fisher will officiate.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Memorial Medical Center Foundation.
