Betty I. (Davis) Miles, 95, of Springfield, IL passed away at home on Thursday January 18, 2024 in the company of her family.

Betty was born in Springfield on May 5, 1928 the daughter of Albert and Zerelda (Smith) Davis.

She married Murval Miles on July, 28, 1945 in St. Charles, MO. Murval preceded her in death in 2011.

Betty and Murval raised 5 children together. She also worked for Springfield Clinic as a greeter until her late 80s. Betty was a dedicated Christian and was a member of Southside Church of the Nazarene in Springfield, IL. Betty loved her family and they always came first in her life. She also enjoyed Bingo.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Murval and her parents; 3 sisters; 2 brothers, 1 daughter, Michelle Bianco; and 1 granddaughter, Brandy.

Betty is survived by her daughter, Patricia (Lloyd) Noyes of Yuma, AZ; son, "Butch" E. (Toni) Miles of Yuma, AZ; daughter, Debbie (Herschel) Gardner of Springfield, IL; son, Bobby L. (Kim Gladden) Miles of Springfield, IL; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Monday January 22, 2024 at Ellinger-Kunz and Park Funeral Home, 530 North 5th Street, Springfield, IL 62702 from 12:00 pm till the time of the funeral service at 1:00 pm.

Burial will conclude at Rochester Cemetery.
