Berta L. (Goodall) Miller, of Springfield, passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2020 peacefully at home.

Berta was born on October 6, 1944 in Springfield, IL the daughter of William and June (Woolery) Goodall. She married Richard (Tom) Miller on January 26, 1963 in Springfield, IL.

Berta was a graduate of Springfield High School. She spent many years working from Mel-O-Cream to Osco's, and stayed home to raise kids. She was a faithful member of Real Life Church. She enjoyed traveling, cooking, and playing cards. She loved her family and spending time with them. Everyone called her "Grandma", family and friends alike.

Berta touched the lives of all who knew her and will be remembered for her love, faith, strength, and generosity.

Berta is survived by 2 sons, Brad (Rhonda Hosey) Miller of Spfld, IL and Alan (Tammy Horrighs) Miller; one daughter, Deborah McCormick (Ray Bradley) of Spfld, IL; 11 Grandchildren; 13 Great Grandchildren; her special friend, Charles Davis; 2 brothers, Cliffard and William (Bill) Goodall; as well as lots of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and two siblings, Dave Goodall and Faye Grigsby.

A memorial service will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery outside of Springfield on Friday December 18, 2020 at 12 p.m. Pastor Clint Cook will be officiating the graveside services.
