A scholarship is being established at DePaul University School of Music Brass Department, the Benjamin K. Darneille Memorial Scholarship Fund. Ben was able to travel and spread his music, and appreciate the music of others all over the world, and it is only fitting that all of that should continue as he would be doing had his life been spared.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the scholarship fund may be contributed at both services or memorial donors may send their gifts to: DePaul University Advancement Gift Processing, 1 E. Jackson Blvd., Chicago, IL 60604. A note should be included with the donation indicating that their gift is designated to the Benjamin K. Darneille Memorial Scholarship Fund in the School of Music, Brass Department.
