Barrett E Dalton, 76, of Chatham, IL passed away at Memorial Medical Center on April 27, 2021.

Barrett was born in Sidney, OH on February 9, 1945 the son of Barrett and Mary Lovett Dalton.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Barrett was a Tennis State Champion in high school and that passion followed him all of his adult life.

After growing up, Barrett called Florida home.  He raised his family there, enjoying the Florida sunshine, beaches, and riding his bike with his family on the Florida bike trails. He loved spending time with his children and was an amazing "PAPA" to his grandchildren.

After retiring, Barrett spent lots of his spare time doing puzzles. He also enjoyed watching various sporting events; NASCAR, WWE Wrestling, and watching The Ohio State University and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Barrett also enjoyed doing yard work.

Barrett is survived by his children, Shannon (Troy) Kozeluh, Shane (Megan) Dalton, and Skyler Dalton; the mother of his children and dear friend, Cheri Marquiss; and he was "PAPA" to Adelynn, Bentley, Cameron, Saylor.

A private family memorial is being held at Wilson Park Funeral Home in Rochester, IL.
