Barbara Jean Jarvis, 95, of Rochester, passed away on Monday, May 16, 2022 at St. John's Hospital in Springfield, IL. Barb was born in Mechanicsburg, on November 28, 1926, the daughter of J. Franklin and Goldie N. (Cline) Cleaver. She married Virgil Jarvis on December 14, 1946 in Springfield, and he preceded her in death on August 29, 2007. She enjoyed gardening, flowers and completing puzzles. Barb is survived by her children, Dennis Lee (Gloria), Richard Michael (Twila) Jarvis, and Debbie (Robert) Heissinger; 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; and one brother, Charles (Dollie) Cleaver.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2022 from 2:00PM until the time of the funeral service at 3:00PM at Wilson Park Funeral Home, 200 E. Main St. in Rochester. Burial will follow at Rochester Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
