With deep love and sadness, we remember a loving Wife and Mother, Anne (Annie May) Dossett, who passed into the presence of her Savior on May 13, 2025.

Anne was born on December 27, 1936, in Narsapur, India, to Scottish parents, William and Annie Morrison, who were serving as missionaries. Anne married Philip Dossett in 1959 in Ayr, Scotland and soon after made the move across the Atlantic to stay in the family home in Waverly, before moving to Springfield and living there for 7 years. Phil and Anne moved to Rochester in 1967 and lived there for the next 47 years. After raising four children: Brian, Carol, Mark, Diane, Phil and Anne moved to Concordia Village in Springfield in 2015.

Anne was a special mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her home was a place of encouragement where many were welcomed. She was the faithful pianist for Grace Bible Chapel for 60 years whose life was defined by the love and grace of God. She was devoted to her family and the many people she connected with in her church community. Through her joy, kindness and deep sense of purpose, she left a legacy of faith that will continue through generations.

Anne was preceded in death by infant son Kevin. She is survived by her loving husband, beloved children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and an extended church family who will forever miss her and cherish her memory.

A celebration service of her life will be held at Grace Bible Chapel, 3335 Woodhaven Drive. Guests may come see the family from 9:30am till the time of the funeral at 11:00am on Tuesday May 20, 2025. Interment at Rochester Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to GBC.
