Anna Maria Praia, 66, sadly passed away on Monday September 23,2024 in Riverton, IL.

She was born in Partinico, Sicily, Italy on August 2,1958, is the daughter of Vito Praia and Francesca Paola Bono; both preceded her in death.

She was the oldest sister of Pete Praia and Edward Praia.

She married Domenico Bono on August 2,1980, in Partinico, Sicily, and he preceded her in death.

She had two sons Salvatore and Gianvito Bono and a daughter in law Sabina (Salvatore's wife) that she always liked calling her as 'her daughter'.

She also left behind: aunts, uncle, cousins, sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces and nephews.

Anna was a sweet and loving soul. She was beautiful and never looked her age. Always looked younger. She was strong and independent, she worked three different jobs. She worked at Curry's Family Pharmacy in Riverton, IL, and also helped her brothers at their restaurants. But before that they all worked at their family's restaurant 'Frances' Italian Pizza House' on the corner of Peoria Rd. and Sangamon Ave. in Springfield, IL(1970-1979). She loved cooking and baking cakes and treats for her family and friends.

Anna loved her family with her whole heart. She will be greatly missed by all those that knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held at Ellinger-Kunz and Park Funeral Home, 530 North 5th St. Springfield, IL 62702 on Tuesday October 1, 2024 from 10:00am till the time of the funeral service at 12:00 pm.

Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Springfield.
