Angela Whitehead, 56, of Illiopolis, passed away on Monday, June 2, 2025 at her home surrounded by her family. Angela was born in Springfield on December 30, 1968, the daughter of Jimmy E. and Darlene R. (Sziber) Floyd. She married David Whitehead on July 29, 2023. Angie worked for the State of Illinois as a accountant for over 20 years. She enjoyed gardening, crafting, playing darts and bags, and joyriding in her jeep.

She is preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents.

Angie is survived by her husband, David; daughters; Trenae (Mark) Marsh, Daphne (Sam) Graves, Tiffany Halford (companion Layne); nine grandchildren, MJ, Channing, Cruz, Max, Hannah, Neva, Kylan, Eliza and Gavin; parents Jimmy and Darlene Floyd; siblings, Kathy Godden, Tracy (Scott) Fields, Mike Floyd, Kevin (Pam) Floyd, and Becky Underwood as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Cremation was accorded by Fullenwider-Park Funeral Home in Illiopolis.

A Celebration of Angie's Life will be held at a later date.

Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
