ROCHESTER, IL - Alma "Ricki" Pruitt, 84, of Rochester, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 3, 2016, at St. John's Hospital.

Ricki was born Aug. 22, 1931, in Niantic Township, the daughter of William and Edith Gass Headrick. She married Delbert E. Pruitt in 1955; he preceded her in death in 1993.

She worked at Franklin Life Insurance Company in the printing department for many years and was a member of the Rebekah Lodge. She was an avid bowler at Rochester Bowling Alley, and loved fishing, riding her golf-cart, and spending time with her grandchildren at the cabin on the Illinois River. She was a practical joker and loved to talk.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, Cecil Hyatt; one brother, William Headrick; and two grandsons, James Stephens and Ty Hewitt.

She is survived by three daughters: Shelia (Doug) Stephens, Sheri (Tommy) Hewitt and Shellie Lee; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and three nieces.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 7, 2016, at Wilson Park Funeral Home in Rochester with the Rev. Mike Jakaitis officiating.

Burial will follow at Camp Butler National Cemetery.
