Albert Golembeck Jr., passed away on Tuesday December 10, 2019 at Heritage Health Center in Springfield.

He was born on July 15, 1926 in Decatur IL the son of Albert H. Sr. and Emma (Galla) Golembeck.

Albert married Patricia Voss on July 26, 1946 in Decatur, IL.

He is survived by his wife (73 years) Patiricia; children, Ed ( Nancy) Golembeck, Susan Nordsiek, and Larry (Connie) Golembeck; grandchildren, Heather (Art) Knudsen Menu, Scott, Jeff (Mary), and Chad (Mandy) Golembeck, 4 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Albert was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Nancy; siblings, Norma Parr, Doris O'Kelly, and Hilda Golembeck.

Cremation services are being carried out by Ellinger-Kunz and Park Funeral Home and Cremation Services.

A private family gathering will be held at a later date.

Family requests that in lieu of flowers, a memorial donation be made the charity of the donor's choice.
