Alan L. Cole, beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 11th, 2022 at the age of 60. He is survived by his parents, Dorothy (Pagel) and Herb Cole of Mechanicsburg, his wife, Becky Cole of Illiopolis, daughters, Natalie Cole of Illiopolis and Emily VanNote of Mechanicsburg, brothers, David Cole and son Ethan Cole of Springfield, Michael Cole of Athens, sister, Debra (Cole) and George Fleck of Riverton, and many more family members and friends. Alan grew up in Mechanicsburg and moved to Illiopolis with his wife, Becky in 2002. He was a proud husband and father, and a enthusiastic cubs baseball fan. He loved to watch baseball and fish with his family. There will be a celebration of life held at the mechanicsburg Christian church located at 305 S Church St, Mechanicsburg, IL 62545 on Saturday, March 19th, 2022 at 2pm.
