Aaron J. Krell, 20, of Springfield, passed away on Wednesday, May 2, 2018.

Aaron was born on April 1, 1998 in Plano, TX, the son of Bob (wife, Jenny) Krell and Tonya Krell.

Aaron was a 2016 graduate from Chatham High School.  He was a member of the Boy Scout Troop 310 in Chatham where he later obtained his Eagle Scout.  He was employed at Hyperion, Inc. and Lake Pointe Grill.  Aaron was an intelligent, polite, friendly and sweet young man whose passions included playing his guitar, building computers and spending time with friends and family.

Aaron is survived by his parents, Bob (wife, Jenny) Krell and Tonya Krell of Springfield; his sisters, Brooke and Rachel Maas; brother, Brody Krell; his grandparents, Ed and Louise Krell and Don and Donna Oglesby of Springfield and Bill and Linda Brown of Decatur.

There will be a visitation from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, May 7, 2018 at Ellinger-Kunz & Park Funeral Home, 530 N. 5th Street, Springfield, IL 62702.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Abraham Lincoln Boy Scout Council Trust Fund, 5231 S. 6th Street, Springfield, IL 62703.
