Vivian M. Eikenberry, 61, of Springfield, passed away on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at St. John’s Hospital.

Vivian was born on April 6, 1956 in Elmhurst the daughter of Harold and Margaret Reese Ziebell.  She married William “Bill” Eikenberry on May 27, 1988.

She received her Bachelors of Liberal Arts from Mt. St. Joseph University in Cincinnati, OH.  She worked in retail and was a homemaker.  She enjoyed cooking, gardening, crocheting and going antique shopping.

She was preceded in death by her mother.

She is survived by her husband, Bill of Springfield; father, Harold Ziebell; one son, Nathan Eikenberry of Fairview Heights; stepdaughters, Tina (Jake) Williamson of CO and Jinny Jordan of Riverton; stepson, Bill Eikenberry of CO and Andy Eikenberry of Springfield; and five grandchildren.

Cremation will be accorded.  Private family services will be held.
