Tom M. Roberts

Tom Roberts, 83, of Bath IL, passed away on October 16, 2018.

Tom was born on February 12, 1935 in Spann Hill, KY the son of William and Rosie Roberts. He married Janet M. Buracker.

He and his wife, along with their sons ran Roberts Truck Line in Ashland, IL for 40 years. He was involved with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital for 16 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one son; one grandson; one sister; and three brothers.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Janet; one son, Wayne (Jeannie); five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one brother, Frank of MO; and one sister, Ruby of KS.

Visitation will be from 4-7:00 p.m. on Friday, October 19, 2018 at Ellinger-Kunz & Park Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at the funeral home with Reverend Keith Masten officiating.  Burial will follow at Pleasant Plains Cemetery.
