Harper Holladay Obituary

Harper Jo Holladay, precious baby daughter of Ryan and Jordyn (Rhodes) Holladay of Buffalo, IL, was born into the arms of angels on Friday, July 13, 2018 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, IL.  She was born at 7:45 am weighing 8lbs 7oz and 21 1/2 inches long.

In addition to her parents, she is also survived by her paternal grandparents, Gary and Ann Holladay of Riverton, IL; her maternal grandparents, Aaron and Angie Dye of Lewistown, IL and Jamie Rhodes of Santee, CA; her paternal great-grandparents, Darrel and Carole Holladay of Lincoln, IL and Christina Francis of Belton, TX; her maternal great-grandparents, Les and Vicki Bowles of Cuba, IL and Kenny and Jane Dye of Havana, IL; her uncle, Braden Dye of Lewistown; her aunts, Miranda Dye of Ipava, IL and Shelby (Jack) Kaufman of Moweaqua, IL; and numerous great uncles, aunts and cousins.

Although Harper never spent any time with us on earth, she was tremendously loved by all and touched so many lives.  Our beautiful, little angel will remain forever in our hearts and will be deeply missed.  The family would like to thank the staff of the Family Maternity Suites at Memorial Medical Center for the incredible care, compassion, support and love provided to Harper and the entire family during this very difficult time.  We will be forever grateful.

A private memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2018.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that any donations in Harper's memory be made to either Memorial Medical Center, Attn: Family Maternity Suites, 701 N. 1st Street, Springfield, IL 62701 to help support other bereaving families; or they may be made to Springfield Angel of Hope at www.springfieldangelofhope.org/walk.asp  to help commemorate the lives of children who have passed and to aid in providing assistance to bereaved families.
