Gregory "Greg" Keith Miles

Gregory “Greg” Keith Miles, 59, of Pleasant Plains, passed away on Thursday, February 28, 2019 at St. John’s Hospital.

Greg was born on August 10, 1959 in Springfield the son of Polly and Bub Taapken.  He married Nancy Sommer on May 21, 1983.

Greg was a graduate of Pleasant Plains High School.  He was the Pleasant Plains Street Superintendent and he managed Pleasant Plains Cemetery.  Greg was a member of Richland Creek Baptist Church, enjoyed watching dirt track racing and collecting baseball cards with his son.  He loved his family and spending time with his grandson, Arlo.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Miles; son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Ann Miles of Pleasant Plains; grandson, Arlo Miles of Pleasant Plains; and his parents, Polly and Bub Taapken of Pleasant Plains.

There will be a celebration of life from 11-2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Richland Creek Baptist Church.

Memorial contributions may be made to Pleasant Plains Fire Protection District or Richland Creek Baptist Church.
