Dickie Lee White, 69, of Springfield, passed away on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at Memorial Medical Center.
Dickie was born on December 28, 1948 in Centralia the son of Donald and Dorothy Ferguson White. He married Patricia Kremitzki on February 14, 1990.
He worked for Memorial Medical Center and later went on to work as a security guard for New Age Security for ten years. He enjoyed farming, fishing and was an avid Chicago Cubs fan.
He was preceded in death by parents; brothers, Donny and Roy White; and sister Rita White.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia White of Springfield; daughters, Audra (Ralph) Carpini of NJ and Stacey (Buddy) Jack of Springfield; sons, Richard McConnell of GA, Warren (Barbara) White of Victoria, IL, Kevin white of WI, Michael (Yvonne) Davis of Illiopolis and Jess (Becky) Davis of Taylorville; sisters, Mary (Fred) Hamm of Illiopolis and Ruth (Frank) Taylor of Decatur; brother, Joe White of Niantic; eighteen grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and his dog, Scampi.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at Ellinger-Kunz & Park Funeral Home with Reverend Ron Moreman officiating. Burial will follow at Camp Butler National Cemetery where the Inter-Veterans Burial Detail will conduct military honors.
