Deborah “Debbie” Lucille Horve, 64, of Springfield, passed away, on Thursday, July 19, 2018 while in the company of her loved ones.
Debbie was born on July 30, 1953 in Creve Coeur, the daughter of Donald and Nola Robinson.
Debbie is survived by her partner, Charlotte “CJ “ Schroeder of Springfield; daughter, Marshawn (Brian) Stevens of Mason City; son, Darren (Laura) Horve of Fort Leonard Wood, MO; mother, Nola Robinson of Decatur; sisters, Pat (Joe) Maxwell, Jackie Foote, Donna (Patrick) Hart, and Nancy (Tim) Crutchfield; brothers, Donald Robinson and John (Sandi) Robinson; as well as twenty-three grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father; sister, Linda; and her son, Bradley.
Debbie spent her early adult years living in Edinburg. She love to coupon, decorate cakes, play bingo and she ran an in-home daycare. She was also part of a bowling league, the lioness club, and Edsel conventions.
Debbie moved to Springfield where she worked at SIU as an LPN for over 16 years and was a member of Rolling Prairie Baptist Church in Rochester. She loved to craft anything, scrapbooking, making jewelry and was obsessed with QVC and kitchen gadgets.
Visitation will be from 5-7:00 p.m. on Monday, July 23, 2018 at Ellinger-Kunz & Park Funeral Home. Celebration of life services will be at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at the funeral home with Pastor Mike Womer officiating.
