David Grigsby Obituary

David Lee Grigsby Sr., 56, of Springfield, passed away on Sunday, September 23, 2018 at his residence.

David was born on August 4, 1962 in Springfield, the son of Charles and Faye Goodall Grigsby.

He was a graduate of Lanphier High School and enjoyed camping, fishing, cars and being outdoors.

He was preceded in death by his parents and nephew, Michael Grigsby.

He is survived by his children, Joshua Grigsby of Virden, Jaime (Jeremy) Burdick of Mt. Pulaski, David Lee Grigsby Jr. and Heaven (fiancé Cody Phillips) Grigsby both of Petersburg, April Grigsby of Tennessee, and Hope Grigsby of Petersburg; three grandchildren, Carter Michael Burdick, Gabriella Marie Burdick and Isabella Marie Phillips; brothers, Mike, John (Dina), Jimmy (fiancée, Kellee Sporrer), and Brian Grigsby; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until the time of memorial services at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, September 28, 2018 at Ellinger-Kunz & Park Funeral Home with Pastor Calvin Miller officiating.
