Daniel Harrison Obituary

Daniel Harrison, 61, of Springfield, passed away on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at St. John’s Hospital.

Daniel was born on September 8, 1956 in Chicago the son of Robert and Catherine Dower Harrison.

He retired from Horace Mann in 2017 after 38 years of service. He was very devoted to his family as he raised his children as a single parent. He enjoyed fishing.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and son, Robert Lee Harrison.

He is survived by his daughter, Christy (Herschel) Fisher of Springfield and Tammy (Jason) Kniss of Bloomington; four grandchildren, Michael, Elliott, Jasmine and Joel; brother, Charles Harrison of Tulsa OK; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Cremation will be accorded. No services at this time.
