Corrandan D. Orr

Corrandan D. Orr, 40, of Taylorville IL, passed away on Friday December 20, 2019.

Corrandan was born in Mississippi on May 25, 1979 the son of Sarah (Orr) Koonce and Robert Williams.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gus and Minnie Orr as well as Willie and Lilian Williams.

Corrandan is survived by his mother, Sarah Koonce of Springfield and father, Robert (Linda) Williams of Hamilton, Mississippi; children, Leigha N. Orr of Springfield, Corrandan D. Orr II, Zariaha R. Orr, and Corrina G. Orr all of Taylorville; companion, Susan R. Fisher of Taylorville; grandchild, Ni’lanai N. Orr of Springfield; siblings, Darren J. Orr of Mississippi, Ashley L. Orr, Brandi C. Koonce, and Brittany M. Koonce all of Springfield; step-brothers, Anthony Butler of Jamestown ND, Kenneth (Ketisha) Williams of Aberdeen MS, Joshua (Stephanie) WIllaims of Starkville MS; step-sister, Christina (Shawn) Joseph of Tupelo MS; many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and beloved friends.

Corrandan loved spending time with his family.  He was also very fond of barbecuing outside and enjoyed his time fishing. He was a football and Pittsburg Steelers fan. During his early years he also played baseball and was a 1997 graduate of Taylorville High School. He worked construction for many years and was later a team leader at Dairy Queen. Corrandan most importantly had a relationship with the Lord and was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Taylorville for many years. Finally, he was a member of the Kincaid Church of God at his time of death.

There will be a visitation held on Friday December 27th, 2019 at Ellinger-Kunz and Park Funeral Home, 530 N. 5th St. Springfield IL 62702 from 11:00am till the time of the funeral service at 12:00noon. His father, Rev. Robert Williams will be officiating. Cremation services will be accorded after the funeral services.
