Brenda Lorraine Brent, 61, of Irving, passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at her daughter’s residence surrounded by her family and friends.

Brenda was born on April 4, 1956 in Las Vegas, NV the daughter of Richard Raymond Brent and Verla May Lane Brent (deceased). 

She was the oldest of eleven children, Richard, Frankie, LeRoy, Stephen, Rhonda, Kelly (deceased), Joni, Iva (deceased), Tonka, and Tess.  She was the mother of four children, Chad and his wife, Alisha, Gilmore, Richard Gilmore (deceased), Tanya Maria, and Gloria Bradley. She was both a grandmother and great-grandmother. 

She was a homemaker and was of a deep Jehovah’s Witness faith.  She loved spending time outdoors, cooking meals and bringing family and friends together. 

There will be a memorial service at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 21, 2017 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 4150 Sand Hill Road, Springfield, IL 62702.

I’m Only Sleeping
